Solve the interactive sudoku with your team
Our game master will remotely lead your teams through the game via WhatsApp. Each team uses one smartphone to play this game. In addition, each team receives a city map with a grid of coordinates (the sudoku) and a photo sheet on which sights and smaller objects of the city are shown. Each photo corresponds to a set of coordinates on the sudoku map.
Armed with these game materials, you are going to hunt around the city to find the sights and objects. When you find one, you include it in a selfie of your team, which you send to our game master via WhatsApp. In return you will receive a riddle question. The answer to the riddle gives you a number which you enter in the Sudoku puzzle on the corresponding coordinate. The more photo locations you find, the more the Sudoku puzzle will fill up. Which team will find all the photo locations and solve the Sudoku puzzle?
Create your team’s own route through Edinburgh
Note that the game has no prescribed route: your teams can start at any of the photo locations. And since the various photo locations are spread over an area of the city that can be managed on foot, your teams can easily and quickly reunite after the game. By the end of the excursion, the selfies you have sent to the game master will give you many great pictures with which to remember your team outing for a long time.
Focus on teambuilding
Although the tour does pass by various sights and landmarks, there is no specific information about them. The focus of the event is on the team building character by exploring the city in a playful way and thereby strengthening the team cohesion.
